Spice Up Foods' Rajma Masala is our standalone curry version, designed for people who want to pair it with their own choice of bread or rice. The kidney beans are cooked until perfectly tender in a robust tomato onion gravy with ginger, garlic, cumin, bay leaf, and a careful measure of garam masala.
The gravy is intentionally thick because that is how good Rajma should be. Not watery, not thin, but rich and clingy. When you rehydrate it with hot water for five to seven minutes, the beans plump up and the gravy comes together exactly the way you would expect from a freshly cooked pot.
